Hi all,

Early this year we had a new front door fitted.
I asked the fitters to leave me the old (4 or 5 years maybe?) upvc door in the hope to put it into the
workshop as a side entrance.

I measured up the door but alas it will not fit...too tall.

So, If anyone is interested in a mahogany style part glazed upvc door...it's yours free!.

You must be able to collect the door from West Lancs or get a carrier to pick it up.

It has a slight crack on one of the back lower panels, but hey! it's free.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

I can take a picture of it if enough interest is shown.

P.S the door is an all in one, built in frame, and I also have the step. Also with keys.

As I said, I was going to use the door...so to me it's in good nick.
Ideal for a workshop.

I do not want to send this to the skips if someone on here can use it.

Thanks for reading.

What size is the door, you might get a better response if you tell us :D

DOH!

Thanks Bean,

The door is: 81 inches (2057mm) X 33 1/2 inches (850 mm).

I will have to get rid of the door soon if no one wants it.....say a week or so.

I need the room to put in the new Lathe.....boy oh boy! now that was a gloat!

Thanks for that OllyK.

I will give it another day or so on here and then give them a try.

I would be a real shame to just get rid of it.

RPM - you could always give it a try on Ebay. I had a new logburner fitted. The company supplying the new logburner offered me £30 for the old one which I rejected. I put it on Ebay, and it finally went for over £300. Couldn't believe it!

Thanks RogerM,

I never thought of E-Bay.

To tell you the truth I have never sold on there. I do have an account tho.

Does E-Bay state pick up?

Cheers.

Yep - no problem at all. Just state clearly no postage, buyer collects. That's what I did for our logburner - it weighed a ton!

Here's the way I did it.
