    well the simplest and most effective remover of organic stains is oxalic acid pm me and I will send you some it is dissolved in hot water then applied with fine wirewool then refinish with whatever you want quick cheap and works great on blue stain on any timber! walla bien siv ou play! :lol:

    why have one plane only there are a bunch of stanley planes on a popular internet auction site at the moment they include a 7,6. 5.5 and a number 3 as well as a number 92 shoulder plane all in one bundle me ill stick to my holteys :lol:

    thanks everyone for replying it is food for thought. I am searching a little wider now and will include site saws as there is a deal on the axminster ones at the while also in axminsters newest flyer there is a side panel saw at a reasonable cost I will be looking at all options

    There are a few flip over saws available ranging from the cheap silverline to the top end bank account oblivion etc has anyone researched these and if so can you give me your experience with them? The last time I used one was around 15 years ago and now there seem to be many more options...

    Biscuit advice

    There is no oil in Iroko, teak yes but Iroko no. perhaps use polyurethane glues that foam, they are quick and very effective. just make sure you get the clamps set up first as poly glues don't always have a long open time from 30 minutes to 45 minutes depending on heat and humidity ie weather...

    No cheap laminate that is oak engineered I thought it might be fun to show an unboxing on youtube and I bet some of you have more than one smoothing plane too yup an A6 and a 982 I have much to say on Holtey planes. Regards :wink:
