Thanks Dave, I'll check it out, am getting fairly desperate now, had to run 6 lengths through the saw today, the air was thick with dust, so maybe a fast purchase on this one. Graham

    router lifter for the table

Hi Guys, I had a similar problem, so I bought a T11 Router, it destroyed itself after 14 months of use. I had an old Hitachi M12V on the shelf, so I bought the Wood Packer Uni lift. Wow, what a difference, I can adjust the height with ease, at any time, far better than the T11, which took...

Hi I have bought some from Iron Mongery Direct, they are very strong, with a real smooth action, as for price and delivery, I thought that was good as well. Here's the link...

Retro fit Dust Hood advice required

Hi guys, I am thinking of replaceing the dust hood on my Deft T30, with the retro fit dust hood on Axminster http://www.axminster.co.uk/product-Axminster-Saw-Table-Dust-Extraction-Guard-32672.htm The supplied hood on the Deft bolts onto the Riving knife, and stops me being able to wind the...

Which Planer Thicknesser? advice needed please

Hi Nother, I've had the Sheppach for around 12 months now, no complaints, anywhere, except, when changing modes, there's a lot of winding the thicknessing bed up and down, apart from that, spot on. Graham

    Hardword source Required

Hi all, Not really sure if this is the right forum or not. Can anyone suggest / know of a reasonably priced source of hardwood in cornwall, or a supplier that will deliver. This is only for home projects, so no massive quantities required. Most sizes required to start with will be around the...

    INCRA TS-LS system

After centering the rails on the saw bed, the next job was the fit the support brackets to the positioner support rail, then fit that assembly to the fence rails, then slide the LS positioner itself on the support rail, as below. Then slide the arm into place. Affixing the actuall fence...

    Bessey K Clamps

Hi All, Has anyone bought any of the Bessey Revo Clamps, http://www.axminster.co.uk/product.asp?pf_id=788976&name=bessey&user_search=1&sfile=1&jump=0 They look superb, but damn expensive, I would love to hear from anyone that can help justify the price, or recommend an equivalent. Many...

    INCRA TS-LS system

Hi, I purchased the kit from Roger, at Woodworkers Workshop, after a direct recommendation from Mark Muller at Incra. Roger has been absolutely brilliant, a very very patient man, nothing was too much trouble. Good prices, a little discount thrown in as well, lots of advice, along with (...

    INCRA TS-LS system

As mentioned on the first post, packaging was very good. Once inside the outer cartons, the product packaging, layout and labeling was the best I've seen. All parts looked present and correct, so I took the included DVD, a nice cold beer, and spent the next 80 mins watching some guy making...

    Deft T30 Table Saw Review

Hi John, It may be a while before I can make much of a comment on the Table saw itself, as another new addition has just arrived. How ever, the few times I have used the saw so far, it was been a remarkably smooth operation. The crown cover lights effortlessly, the blade cuts clean and true...

    Deft T30 Table Saw Review

I am not impresed with the Crown guard only because when measureing to the blade for a cut, there doesn't seem to be a way to hold the guard up, so it ends up dropping on the tape measure all the time. Thanks for the reminder to tell Lyndhurst, I will make a point of telling them. Graham
