    He's the reknowned master of turning wet wood... has Books, DVD's etc etc... As I understand it, he had nasty reactions to the dust of dried woods and had to go for turning green, and has become one of the foremost exponents on the subject. he's up the top end of Scotland somewhere...

    Always Oil my lathe bed and rub down with 0000 Steel Wool.. keeps everything slip-sliding away, as Paul Simon said :wink: Some folk hate the thought of oil near the machine,... Don't throw it on from 12 yards away, and its fine. :wink:
