We've got the full height fridge, following a friend recommending as he has the fridge and freezer separate. Now 8 years old. Bloody love it.

3" brass parliament / projection hinges?

My brother got some at screw fix. I think about 15 quid. He says they are very sturdy. I've no idea if they're good, though

    Stud wall

I agree with R, that it will crack. It can be reduced by they plasterer taping or 'scrimming' the join, which they would do normally. Talk to your plasterer first and they'll tell you what thickness they will do.

Very nice, Mr K. Don't let the Mrs see that you've stuck the stick into the sofa though! Thinking about the colouring the balls, I would think any good bright paint would do, then good polyurethane varnish? Might chip a bit, though that gives them patina and character

Might be worth doing one that's natural inside - could be a lovely contrast

    tung oil

I use teak oil on our garden table and chairs. (I THINK teak oil is linseed and tung mixture). It gives a nice lustre, which does fade and silver over time. Our furniture is about 15 years old, I oil it every couple of years and we do cover it over winter if I get to it before rain at the end...

Does cheap dust extraction hose exist?

Just checked the bathroom vent pipe and sleeve which is a sliding fit in the pipe. Sleeve: ID 100mm, OD 103mm. Pipe: OD 107mm. Alternative solution is, using a short length of pipe, cut all along the length, then; If small adjustment required, just squeeze together, reducing diameter by saw...

Does cheap dust extraction hose exist?

"So, what I need now is a plastic part that is 100mm OD on one end (to go into the hose) and 100mm ID on the other to swap between ports. Does such a thing exist?" You'd need to check diameter to be sure, but bathroom extractor tube can vary, so kits often have a short length of sleeve, which...

    Replacement firepit bowl?

Maybe just get an old oil drum and give it a basic bash into shape to go inside the holey one?

Sorry, Recipio, I'm a woodturner, so don't understand wot u said 😁. Are those strange words from the same place as 'patience'?

    Tack cloths/rags?

But doesn't using compressed air mean the dust is just floating around, ready to resettle on your wet finish?

    Barley twist stems

Nice looking pieces, Cooper. I watched Richard Findley cutting them by hand. He marked out very carefully, which should help with symmetry, (you may have already done this, so apologies if teaching egg sucking). For shaping, he used several sized micro planes, which he said are the best...
