You could well be searching in vain for 3" (75/76mm) Parliament Hinges because of the narrow knuckle. Consider 'Projection' hinges instead they have a full width knuckle but the leaves are as deep as 'Parliament' pattern.

Go for a quality hinge, the best you can afford. Preferably with washers. Mine were quite expensive, i too used to use SDS, but had to be replaced after a few years in the bathroom as they would wear quite quickly and drop.

Must they be 3" ? - can you cut a bit out of the door and frame to use 102mm/4" hinges? - you can then get the heavy duty brass Parliament (the "shaped" ones) which look really great. I fitted them to a very heavy solid hardwood internal door into the kitchen at our previous house - no problems with them, there for about 18 years.

Whilst Parliament hinges look nice the knuckle is only about 1/3rd of the size of a Projection hinge. Projection hinges are a lot stronger. These doors were about 8 foot high, with a second door hanging off there edge so a lot of weight.
I sourced them from Hart Wholesale in Southend on sea, but they should be available from other suppliers.

In case anybody is wondering, the gap under the left hand pair is due to a big hump in the floor meaning I needed to take the bottom off the doors. They were not the easiest to hang, taking a day for the initial two on the door case.
