    concrete floors, how strong?

concrete is strong in compression to break it you force a chisel in to fracture the structure , so expanding fixings may not be a good idea you could resin glue threaded rod into the floor to give a good fixing without side force. Clean holes out well for a good fixing and spread the load.

    Featheredge cladding.

I would think if the height difference is small you could loose it in the distance to under the windows by adjusting the overlaps using story boards and string line, it will not be seen . larger distances could be fixed by a solid timber starter board suitably tapered and profiled to accept the...

    Need a little help.

Before anyone will consider cutting reclaimed timber they need to be sure there is no steel or stone in it as it will ruin the blade. So wire brush down for grit etc and metal detect any one with suitable machines would then be able to help.

    double locking on router collet.

Is everything clean no resin sawdust etc clogging any of the threads, housings or expansion slots is the bit in to far so the radius where it flares out is expanding the adapter sleave. are the threads worn allowing them to ride over each other all worth a clean up and check .

    Replacing Asbestos Roof...?

I believe its a good idea to keep the sheets wet as it helps to hold any free fibres. Where we are you just take it to the reclaim centre and it goes in a specific skip.

    Water Meter

There is usually a stopcock external to property to isolate your supply so that the valve can be serviced/replaced they some times get stiff. Bit of work with the gass pliers gets them to shut off.
