Saw thistoday and ummed and arrred about it. Sent the guy a question and knew I should have snapped it up, but didnt.

Low and behold its gone this evening.

Theres another in Lancs but by the time I've driven there and back it'll cost a pretty penny.

Oh well, keep looking I guess :D

That's a good saw and would have been a bargain, indeed. I use mine more and more as I finally get settled into a layout. It's handled re-sawing Iroko and Oak at full depth, which is around 145mm. I do hanker after more depth for re-sawing but other than that, I can't see me getting rid of it soon.

Well Mick
As they say , He who hesitates n all that , but then they also say Fools rush in but better luck next time . Cheers !

I have one of those, good bit of kit, keep looking, bound to be another along in a month or two.

ha I feel much better about it now. thanks guys.

Seen some great items come and go so like you say, I'm sure another will be along shortly.

All the best

Paul

Crikey, I didn't know they went that cheap! I was seriously thinking about a bandsaw a while ago but decided it won't suit the budget for a while. Having seen that I may consider one early next year... Don't worry though, I won't be adding to this list of bidders just yet!

That was a bargain, its bigger brother and the Startrite equivalent always go for big bucks - at least they did when I was looking for one
