Does anyone else miss the old way of notifying you at the top of the page that you have ex number of PM's?
At the moment unless you look there is no way of knowing if you have any, and if like me you forget to look you can end up finding one a few days old. Which could make you look a bit ignorant in the eyes of the sender, because we are not always notified by email either. Is there anyway we could have something like that again?

Not a huge problem, just a thought :roll:

Karl no I don't. I know the box you mean but the last time I received one of those must have been back in 2004/05, so I thought Charley had stopped using them. It maybe the software I am using Microsoft Vista Premium, with Internet Explorer 8 and I have popups blocked, but I have put www.ukworkshop.co.uk as an allowed site.

I am completely useless when it comes to technology so I may have done something wrong :roll:

Win7. I get the popup box and also an email. The latter is the best notification IMO as it puts things with a lot of other stuff that I have to attend to so doesn't get missed.

No I am still not getting any on site notifications but I do get some email ones :roll:
