Being the messiest worker in the world, I need as much help as I can get to stay a bit tidier, so this is one of many storage units I have made in the workshop. I needed to store spindle tooling, mortice chisels, drill bits and router cutters. And I can store my 4 routers in the top. Any edges prone to wear have solid wood edging. Wheels from rutlands when they had an offer on. Main carcase MFC And other bits and bobs from scraps.

No doubt i'll want to modify it but for the moment it should do the job.

Looks very neat.
And im sure it will save you loads of time not having to look for router bits, mortice chisels etc. as you will always know where they are kept now!

Now I'm worried what your going to say about my router bit drawer when you visit.......... might have a quick tidy up.
My little workshop cupboards are not up to this standard.
Well done, nicely executed........... could you knock me one up during the visit?

If i'd known you were going show us your dovetailer, i'd have done the drawer and trays down there.

Yes I made the same height for that purpose. Wanted the blocks on a shelf rather than drawer, as some of the bigger ones weigh quite a bit. Having to lift up the surface makes me keep it clear as well, deliberately, because if it's flat and level i'll put something on it.
