Workshop revamp (very pic heavy)

I thought those dust sheets where a bed if I had a workshop like that I would need a bed, wouldn't want to come out of it.

Well, I'm jealous. If the wife saw those pics, she'd be jealous too - far more units than our kitchen. But the Wendy house is so much more homely!!

Sorry guys, didn't want to make anyone jealous. Most space I ever had before this was a single garage. Doesn't matter how much space you have, it's never enough though and some of the workshops forum members have are factories really. Now that's something to be envious of :mrgreen:

Still sorting out btw - it'll take me 12 months :lol:

The biggest future job is emptying the loft of the toys and stuff left behind by the kids, and persuading them to take it :roll: it will take me a week and I'll have to threaten to skip it I think. The "kids" btw are 30 ish so it's about time!

May i be the first to wish you all the best in trying to achieve this and if by some miracle you sucseed could you please tell me how to do it :lol:


Cracking work shop Bob ,all the comforts of home a very nice selection of toys to play with =D> =D> =D> may you enjoy many a happy hour playing (swmbo tells me thats all i do in mine [-( ) and be sure to keep us up to date with wip posts on what you make please.

Well my son has shown some interest in the loft contents at least. All I did was mention Lego, scalectrix, radio control car, and probably 100 Beano and Dandy annuals and his eyes lit up. :lol: His wife is not so keen though I have a cunning plan, - their first baby is due in a few weeks and we also have all the toddler (Mr men etc type) reading books, 100s of them ..........so :wink:

No WIP cause no projects at the minute. Too busy with boring paying work which is currently a kitchen, some replacement doors and the usual buiding and repair jobs. Roll on retirement or at least semi next year

I learned years ago that by keeping up a steady slow trickle of jobs ticked off the wifes list gives me stacks of leeway when it comes to tools and workshop etc.
A new kitchen will give you thousands of brownie points so must be well worth doing. :wink:

Ahhh yes i can see why you think your cunning plan will suceed ,at first there will be some movement of goods leaving your house and the elated feeling \/ of finally getting rid of a loft full of stuff will cloud your mind and lull you into a false sense of wellbieng ccasion5: .Unknown to you a dasterdly plot is being hatched :shock: Whilst you are out labouring to feed your loved ones (hammer) a slow but steady flow of stuff will make its way into your loft / garage/ even under your bed :-# , this flow will gradually increase from a trickle to a torrent until one day you will have a loft packed to the rafters with prams/pushchairs/high chairs/slides/swings and all manner of assorted lumps of coloured plastic that were once some sort of toy.
The leader of this plot ( and she will deny this [-X )will be swmbo aided by others close you.
There is very little you can do to prevent this happening but you must be strong and protest most strongly [-o< , put your foot down with a firm hand before its to late my friend or your lovely tidy workshop will be next DAMHIKT

Sussed that one years ago Mark. I have control of the up-n-over door remote as well as the key to the internal door :lol: If I thought there was the slightest chance I'd put in tripwires and nasty shocks stuff :twisted:
