British Hardwoods are having a sale day on 4th February. There is usually about 10-15 stalls and some decent offers on materials.
I might pencil it in for a cycle tour - is there camping on site??

plus parking which can be very expensiveAnyone thinking of spending £30 to go to the Makers Central Show at the NEC.
Just come back from the Camping and Caravanning show at the NEC which was £11.50 each with free parking. Makers Central £25 to £30 a ticket and £8 to £13 parking.plus parking which can be very expensive

I don't think I can afford either!!Really wanna go to makers central but it's the same month as London Comicon and I can't afford both
I imagine the C&C show is a much bigger show and there are plenty of companies there where people are looking to spend 10s of thousands hence the exhibitors will cover far more of the costs.Just come back from the Camping and Caravanning show at the NEC which was £11.50 each with free parking. Making is a niche hobby and won’t have the economies of scale.
