Looking back on over 30 years of woodworking I realise I've ticked a fair few boxes. Windsor chair...tick, wooden boat...tick, inlayed and veneered furniture...tick, dining table and matching set of chairs...tick, linenfold blanket chest...tick, chest of drawers with way too many hand cut dovetails...tick.

But there's still so many things that I've never made,

A musical instrument
A Carlton House Desk (with secret drawers)
Any kind of extending leaf table
A Krenov style cabinet on stand
A Rietveld chair
A sash window
A natural edge Nakashima style piece of furniture
A bow fronted cabinet of any description
A really good workbench

I'd consider myself a fairly experienced woodworker, but it's sobering to realise that there's far more things I haven't made than I have made!

What's on your bucket list, and what should be on every woodworker's bucket list?

Well I have made a box to contain some ones ashes, that has now been buried in their garden.

Hi

An English longbow and a long case clock, (including the movement, dial, pendulum), are on my list of things I want to make.

Regards Mick

A wooden Plane, A router table extension for my table saw, and finish the 10foot dinning table I started 3 years ago! not that complex but when you go large much harder to finish a project in a one man shop especially 3inch ash table top my poor tools didn't know what hit them.
It will be finished before september hopefully..

Honestly most projects r ones you need. A Proper hand tool cabinet is a dream but haven't the space really for one if i'm being honest .

I did see a design for a set of bookcases that converted to a coffin when needed.
  8) been there and made it, full of books at the moment, so when my tiimes up, chuck the books out, me in it and screw/nail the door on DONE

as to other items on the BL
finish my new workshop, finish the house, build a matched pair of SM look a like easy chairs, make summint that is good for a guild mark, a natural edge Nakashima style piece of furniture, and a few other good pieces. Oh and do a bungy jump too :D

:) Oh the Nakashima stuff is popular isn't it, I want to do a live edge dining table with two large bits of walnut. That's my number one want to do before I'm dead.
Workbench, good enough but not poncy.
Couple of different chests, one with a coopered top - one with frame and panel construction.
Something with a lot of veneer/inlays.

Ahh who am I kidding, just stuff I'm not ashamed of 8)

Good thread.
