Hello all
Can anyone help me out here. I am having no joy with this 4 od business, signed up and tried to watch the program. It keeps stopping, I thought like you tube I could pause it and let it buffer but no joy, it refuses to buffer. Is there a way to download the program like on the bbc i player?
I had my laptop wireless connected, then plugged the lan cable in and that made no difference.
Any ideas, I would like to watch this but the pausing was driving me round the bend!!!!!

richburrow, are you broadband and who are you with?

Virgin cable flies along but I think other providers can have trouble with 4 and even iplayer..

We are using bt broardband. The old home hub not the new one on the adverts.

Its probably down to the speed of your broadband connection as opposed to the kit. The only reference i can find is this where it states a minimum of 3mb/s is required.

You can test your speed here .

I am unable to use any of the streaming services from anywhere because my max speed is about about 1mbs :( with the wind in the right direction!

Thank you for the link. I am getting 1mbs, not great. Nothing wrong with my cpu because its new. You guys are right got to look at the provider, I am sure they were promising more than this, typical!!!!
I will give them a bell and see what they say, I have a feeling it will be pay more and get a faster connection.

Thought the programme was naff....sorry.

Which just goes to prove that you can't please all the people all the time, but most respondents to the OP seem to have enjoyed it enough to keep watching.

He made his own rabbit skin glue this week - it may have upset a few sensitive viewers, seeing what the principle ingredient is, but seemed to be very good stuff.

I thought the message of 'making things is worth while and a lot of fun' came over loud and clear.
