wood screw and nut for leg vise

I hope to make a Moravian bench but have no kit to make the wooden screw and nut for the leg vise does anyone know who in the UK makes these if anyone or would I be better just getting a scaffold jack and using that?

I will have to have a search
it was made by a well known English Woodworker
is that the sort of thing you are looking for?
