Woke this morning and this is the sight that faced us:
snoweverywherevu8.jpg

So much for doing some gardening then.

When I first looked out it was clear, :D went back to bed. 8)
When I got up there was a light dusting. :)
Now it looks about 1" deep and the flakes falling are huge, the looks really heavy so I expect Iona to be in her element in a little while.

GRRR Not as bad here, but bitingly cold. So cold that even my heated workshop is like an igloo :( No fun for me today. Looks like i'll be locking myself in the office and installing Windows Server 2003 yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn

It reminds me of that lesser-known Bing Crosby song - I'm dreamin' of a white easter!!

We had about the same this morning - all melted by mid-morning :(
Keep having the odd flurry of snow and hail, but again,short-lived.

Mailee, are you here in Minnesota? We had about 8" of very wet snow on Friday and it has been snowing lightly ever since. Enough to keep the roads greasy. My brother said he had over 11" at his place in Southeast Wisconsin.

When walking the dogs this morning at 6 am, we had two whole inches of snow, it was lovely, down the fields, like a picture postcard setting

We were up in the Lakes on a Craft Show.....9.30am waiting for the snowplough on Kirkstone Pass.

Too true, snow is banned round here. I've been in my unheated workshop all day! :D

Hi Mailee, lovely pic, wish I had as much room and a lovely view as yours,
did you finish the canteen yet?
Rich.

At 4.30 pm today it was 12 degrees c according to the thermometer in our back garden, the sun was shining brightly...

... and it was snowing!

Hi Rich, Can't say I picked the picture as I am not that good with a camera. The outlook is over the golf course that is at the back of my home. As for the canteen, I am still waiting for the flock to be delivered. (It didn't arrive Saturday) No doubt it will be here tomorrow and I can then get it finished at last. I am spending most of tomorrow pulling floor boards up in our home to move the computers upstairs but will make time to finish the flocking when it arrives. Yes Steve we too had the same here this afternoon Sun shining and a light snow shower to boot!
