Strange stuff ...........wine!

Every year (usually January when the weather here is sh*t) me & SWMBO go to her sister's home in Spain.
Bro in law has a citrus farm and I go out with his men into the feilds and "help"

We all drink from one large bottle (they have a fine nozzle & you let a stream of wine go in your mouth) plus stick of bread & olives. This wine is about 50p a gallon and tastes like nectar.

If you bring the identical stuff back home for drinking it tastes like paint stripper.

Sounds like great fun Lurker :D I bet you all wear red tops though

The same with Beer and Cider in the days of manual labour at hay making and harvest time Lurker.
Even as a kid we were amply supplied, with work from first light till dusk it was what kept you on your feet.
Mind you, stuck atop of a load of hay with men pitching loads up at you had to keep going or you got buried!

Roy.
