Just wanted to say a quick thanks to finneyb and naznomad for the idea and pattern link for the wine yoke . since I first posted one on my FB page, I have now had definite orders for 14 personalised ones and sold a couple direct at the only craft fair I have shown them at, so anyone wondering if they might sell, they do seem to.
I don't know about others who sell their stuff, but for me this is mass production
Thanks again guys :eek:ccasion5:

Hi Gill,
I am glad to hear that the yokes are selling,I hope that you are getting the same price as you asked for the first ones??

All the best.
Peter

thanks Peter, yes still getting £15 for them, think people happy to pay that for personalised items, mind you some of the names are a bit long...

Make one with ''llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch'' on it to hold 48 glasses and a case of wine. :-D

Diversify.

Naznomad, I'll leave that one up to Geoff, that's his neck of the woods (phew)
Woodpig - hmm food and drink for thought there. :D

hmmm.....nope, no time, just had another order for seven (!!! ) personalised wine yokes, don't think I've ever made so many of the same item before!

Brilliant news Gill, It looks like your going to be very busy for Christmas and then there's Valentine's to think of and Easter lol
For Valentine's day you could do them with heart shaped cutouts or maybe shape the yoke like two hands (would work for wedding gift too)
Have fun
Brian

Hi Gill,
keep this up and you will have to hire some HELP lol.I know how it feels I made a wine picnic table for stepdaughter and she put a photo of it on facebook and I have now made another 43 of them in the last 3 months, the last 5 were for xmass presents.

Peter.

Gill, how are you personalising them? Got any pics of your finished articles?

here are some of the ones I have done so far, personalisation can be just initials or names, or initials/names and images
