Sorry if this is in the wrong place I really couldn't think where it would fit. Bit like my nipples.... Alright, alright! I'll stop.
Recently bought an old drill, trying to cover all the bases a bit too early, I got myself a connex gun which seemed to have good reviews, not too cheap, not too expensive, a tube of the right gear to put in it and some hydraulic oil after doing some fascinating reading on gear oil and modern equivalents... :|
Being a bit of a div, it didn't occur to me then that the old drill wouldn't have a metric nipple. In fact the drill has no nipple of any sort. Or any Metric measurements. Yes. I know. But according to research it should have a BSF 1/4" hydraulic nipple. Spent an hour or three scouting round the web for various missing BSF screws, grub hex bits and all sorts to replace the missing bits on my machine. Learnt some stuff so that's nice. Mostly that BSF stands for British Standard Fine and certain bits are pretty rare and therefore a bit dear for a couple of screws you chiseling E Bay B*******s! Anyway. Before SunnyBob turns up again and reminds me that he told me so (£23 odd quid on bits Bob. Yes I know. Thanks. Go for a long swim in your pool mate ) can anyone point me in the direction of an adaptor that will make this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Connex-COX5913 ... B001BAY8ZQ
fit this:
http://www.building-supplies-online.co. ... gIBT_D_BwE
I've been looking I really have but I'm starting to lose the will to live.
Sorry for the weird and random post.
Cheers as always for any help.
Chris.
(Mods, if you can think of a better place, apologies and feel free to move this!)
(Edit. I have never bought a pack of 10 tiny pretty rusty imperial hex grub screws before for over a fiver before. Refurbing the screws for the refurb... wtf.)
