I just got around to cleaning mine properly with my new Alto pressure washer and its come up great and also its not slippy at all.

I used the special patio cleaning head on the washer and it was quiet quick and didnt fur up at all.

When I was looking into buying decking a few years ago, I was told that the grooves where there for preventing slipping. Which is complete bullsh*t. Earlier this year I slipped over on the decking in our new house and it's of the softwood grooved variety! The hardwood stuff at our last house was never problem and that was smooth.
