Hi
Just after a quick and easy recommendation for a brand/UK supplier of thin (low viscosity) CA (super glue) to use for minor repairs and wood strengthening.
I do a bit of turning and have used normal CA glue but have found it to be a bit thick (viscous), especially when trying to stabilise those fine hairline cracks. A quick google for thin CA yields (as always) a myriad of mind numbing options. So I was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation? I like the idea of those tiny applicators' to get into the fine cracks. And perhaps something that I can go out and buy off the shelf, but equally a reputable online version would be great.
Many Thanks
K

O3a looks to be the glue used by UK YouTube woodworkers. Read that Starbond is widely used (mostly US I think). Not used either in thin consistency but it may help narrow your choice down.

I use In no particular order Titebond, Chestnut, o3a, Usually use ine of the 3 to make an order up from a supplier.
For normal viscosity I use Everbuild as i get a great deal on it from my local fixings guy, Everbuild don't do a thin version only normal and thick

Thanks guys, all sorted. Making a trip to Axminster on Wednesday so have gone with the chestnut version they have.

It seems to be cheap for a biggish bottle at Toolstation. Or was last time I bought some.
Keep it in the fridge and the thin stuff lasts better than the higher viscosity version.
Edit, I'm talking about "normal" glue which seems thin to me. There isn't a specifically "thin" version at TS.

Poundland or poundstretcher. I've never used anything else, you can get packs with 2 bottles or with 8 or 10 little tubes, possibly not as high quality as the branded stuff sold for turners but it's worked perfectly for me for the last few years and at a fraction of the cost.
