Hello Colin.
I now have the answer to the question in the other thread,(which I saw before checking my own). I do like the idea of the impact driver.
The main use of the little drill/driver is for lightweight work. Using only small drill bits for pilot drilling etc and lightweight driving such as cabinet hinges. My thinking is it would be more beneficial than wielding around a bloody great drill with a sodding big weight on the end.
