Apologies if I'm inventing/imagining things, but I believe there was a stickied thread, that I wanted to look at, but can't seem to find. Has it been moved/deleted, or is it time for me to take my pills?

Thanks!

Sorry but he has taken it with him to another forum. www.thewoodhaven.co.uk I do not know if anyone else has downloaded a copy.

Thanks all. I was interested in the bit re the DPM under the concrete base. I seem to recall there being some comments about this, to prevent water from coming between the flap and the slab (thus rendering the DPM pointless), but can't remember what was suggested/advised...

I've recently pured a concrete slab, and now need to do something with the leftover flaps of DPM. Looking at the drawing on that ik, it looks like the DPM is cut flush with the bottom of the base. Is that right?

Apologies if that made absolutely no sense!

No I didn't. Any moving or deleting of it was nothing to do with me. Surely only moderators can move or remove stickies? I haven't posted it anywhere else, either. However, I will happily answer any questions over on the Woodhaven.

Morning Bob

If you have found a way to get useful results out of the search facility, I think we should be told :)

Perhaps the new software will be better.

Well until yesterday, I understood how to drive it and usually could get what I wanted.
Selecting author, keywords date ranges etc separately worked well for me

Now the button has been moved, the contrast reduced to near zero and FUBARed by handing over to Google - deep joy!

Previously we had choice of the inbuilt search and Google - now improvements have take choice away.

We will have to re-learn how to steer it in the right direction all over again

Thanks all, that original post/thread has answered my question.

As stated, I did try to search for the original thread, without success (probably operator error). I appreciate it's probably irritating having people ask the same q's over and over.

Thanks again, and roll on my new garage!
