Where can i get a carpet edge thingy that u hit ya knee with, that you use to like trim the edges of carpets with.You see them on like Holmes on homes and other diy programmes.
Or does anybody know what`s called?

Do you mean one of these?

I don't think they cut the carpet though, they just have little teeth that grip the carpet and stretch it for the gripper rods on the floor to hold the carpet tight.

I'm sure you can find it cheaper than from argos too, but it was the easiest place to find it.

I know u use the stanley knife with it.Thanks alot m8.u the man :lol:
 
Carl, they are normally called Knee-Kickers and I made mine using a block with short lengths of carpet gripper facing away. A short length of broom handle and a second block of wood wrapped in old carpet completes the job.
 
Other alternative places to buy one are Screwfix of Machine Mart
