Wheee new saw!

Just picked up this gem that I found on Gumtree. Tyler bandsaw, 15 inch wheels. I'd never heard of them but apparently they invented a spiral cutting blade (much like the multi-cut scroll saw blades). This one has been converted to run normal blades though, needs a little fettling and a new blade

Do you have the information on the original construction, particularly about the spiral blade assembly and blades?

Looks a beauty ! Are you gonna bolt it down, or will it be moving about the workshop a bit ?

I'd never heard of it either, and I can't find a great deal out about the spiral cutting blades either (only what shows up on the first few links or so on Google).

I will probably be making a new blade guide assembley, not keen on its current set up. Will also need to make a fence and probably a mitre fence. It has the slot for the mitre, and I am keeping the adjustable section from my previous saw.

Coley - It's going to get bolted down to the floor, and the switch is getting raised up to sit on the wall at a height between the wheels, it's too low currently and I feel thats unsafe to reach for the off switch. Switchbox was bolted to the casing on the side and the length of cable limits it.
Only have half a double garage, other half is my parents stuff as it's all based at my parents property (free rented space, can't complain)
