Whilst out shopping yesterday went into Home Bargains and isle 2 Easter goods I believe in summer they have a special on with memorabilia from the 2026 World Cup

In the week before Christmas, the wife brought home some 'Hot Cross Buns' from the local Supermarket. They were much appreciated, but I thought it was a rather random mixing up of festivals. It now seems like it was a 'practise run' for the week after Christmas.

Local mini Tesco had a prominent display of Easter eggs yesterday, suppose they needed something to fill the space left by mince pies

We buy hot cross buns every week. £1.15 for 6 in Asda or 80pish in Aldi.

They are not hot cross buns it's the way they are stacked on wire trays for delivery

juat came to me,,,,,something like bar top hinges....but a single pin......they have dovetail shaped flaps.....

We won't mention easter eggs but in October Asda had mince pies & a yule log with best before mid November dates - no not the sticky sort that comes with a plastic fork.
