Hi,

could anyone tell me what the difference is between between the Evolution "Rage" and "Fury" sliding mitre saws?

I was thinking about getting the Rage one, this is the one with the orange blade, however Ive seen the "Fury", the one with the green blade, on offer for quite abit less.

Any ideas of the difference?, one used for different materials?, is it basically the same saw with a different blade?

Thanks

Hi,

I have the 255mm rage saw and can say that its fantastic, although I only use it for mostly wood the capability for the odd bit of metal is very handy. The only problem i have found with it is the size! bit of an effort lugging it around to find space in my single garage workshop.

The difference between the fury and the rage is the size, the fury is I think goes up to 210mm where as the rage goes up to 300 odd. I think the rage is designed for heavier duty than the fury as well.

Hope that helps,

Jon
