What timber is this?

I recently bought a few pieces of timber but have forgotten what type the top board the top one is.
Does anyone know the type?

I'm tempted to say maple/sycamore based on the grain pattern and the light colour breaking through on the left. You should plane down some of the saw marks to see the real colour which will be the biggest clue.

Rough sawn is about the only answer I can give with just that picture to work from.
