What router should I buy?

I have a Trend T11 and DW621 (1/4") which are great, but also picked up an AEG at the D&M show at a special price of £120, they are now on special at £99 here ! http://www.dm-tools.co.uk/product.php/s ... /AEGOF2050

Well worth considering the AEG, I haven't given it a proper workout and much use yet but seems like industrial quality and looks promising, should avoid the need to demount the T11 from the table when I need to work with a 1/2" rather than the DW621.

The AEG is suspected to be a rebadged Ryobi and used to be prone to depth control mechanism problems, but perhaps the problem has been addressed now, but with that in mind it does look a good deal and a decent machine for sub £100 and well within our aspiring routists budget.

Where are you based Logchopper, you may be able to find someone local who will let you have a play with theirs and make your own choice. If you are in the NW you could go to Dans bash he's got a few and I'm sure others might show you theirs!
