Hi all
I am beginning to construct my replacement workshop part of which will be a sheet and stud side wall, that will have to run only a few inches from a neighbours concreat block wall, which apart from a few inches at the top hides my wall completely. Because of this whatever I use will be put up and never treated again once the intial timber treatment is applied to the sheet. Cost restraints mean I can only realy afford Stirling board, or the WPB beech ply, rather than anything better such as marine ply. The wall will be 2.5m high by 6m, with the joints cover by a weather strip as each panel is dropped into place. The wall will be insulated and skinned inside. I do not expect lashings of rain to make its way between the two walls, but I expect it to remain damp with a restricted air flow.
Any suggestions which would be the better sheet to use, or a similar priced alternative, and your thoughts on which applied treatment would last the longest would be appreciated. I want to get this finished so I can my tools out and relearn what I think I once knew.
