Are you sure it is referring to the Windows version number rather than the version number of their own software?

e.g. superdupersoftware for Windows 10.2

which should really be

superdupersoftware version 10.2 for Windows

I think Brittleheart nailed it:

One Man Band Originals for Windows , (version 10.2)

Come on John......promise me you will buck up!!

Software version 10.2 for Windows 'init.

Maybe they are saying the music is so far ahead of its time it won't even run on computers before Windows 10.2 comes out.

Since Windows 7 is as new as we've got at the moment that's a bold claim.

:) There grammar is worst than mine. I think it should have read, One man band version 10.2 for Windows .

Put it down to a heavy weekend. Lifting washing machines and dishwashers and laying new floor, my brain went numb.
Then my neighbour complained that her tissue box would not accept her box of tissues.
Sorted that out, told her to buy 100 box sets not 150.

However I am going to adapt the box with an additional slots added to the bottom of boxes (in a contrast colour of course) to allow for deeper contents, so they will now be usable for both sizes.

And my eyesight by the look of it, although I think there is something wrong with my keyboard
I would swear I never typed the "t"

I don't usually pick on peoples' grammar on forums, even though it is often quite diabolical because as long as we can understand one another that is all that matters and there is no point in annoying people for the sake of it. No problem with a bit of banter as in this thread however.

The fact that the original question needed to be asked does however demonstrate how important proper use of the English language is if we are to avoid misunderstanding and how poor sentence structure can convey completely the wrong meaning.

End of rant.

Walter

Brittleheart, it would appear that Microsoft Word accepts your posting above without any spelling or grammatical variations.

In a connected yet opposite way, if I'm talking to a friend over MSN having a really bad day for typos and apologise for it, I'll be guaranteed a typo-free run of writing that makes the apology looks completely unnecessary.

The exception is when I'm getting annoyed with it, in which case I'll usually send a message along the lines of blppdy ty[os! which just ruins my day altogether.

Strange that.
