The sort of kitchen hinges being discussed can be purchases for doors that sit external to the carcass, as with most kitchen units, but you can also buy other that will work for doors that are internal, which I suspect is what you have. I used this on the cabinet I made for my fish tank and they work fine.

The reason I did that is to show the door opening. Its inccurate yes because the pivot point is on the opposite side but that would require me to draw over the door as its shown to be shut which I thought may be confusing. Are you saying that the hinge suggested in JasonB's drawing will work for this door?
So theres the pivot point.

The kitchen style ones will work for an internal fitting door as you have shown, just not the standard ones, you need to get some specialist ones. But they are reasonably easy to get hold of.

You have drawn the hinge where the door would be if it was shut so I can't understand how it would work.
Would you be able to tell me the exact style of hinge your referring to or should I go looking on the internet

Look at the drawing, the door is OPEN, the earlier drawings show it closed FFS
Part of the ] hinge is within the 35mm hole when the door is closed ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Again its refered to as a Duel/twin/overlap depending where you buy from, its the one shown in the woodfit tech pages I linked to, its this hinge on this plate

I realise that the hinge is in a hole in the door side but in the picture you have the door sitting external to the frame do you not? If that were to work in practice as in the picture the door would shut over the mounting hinge would it not?

What Jason is trying very hard to explain to you is entirely accurate.

I think it would have saved him even more bother if you'd tried harder to understand what his drawing meant!

Well at least my very quick sketches were correct and the pivot point was in the right place  With the camera right by me it was quicker to sketch by hand, and either way still needs uploading.
Just make sure the hinges you have are duel, they look similar to layon and inset hinges but the dranked arm has a different offset. also ensure the plates are suitable for your hinge ie same make and fixing - if Blum they do module, clip & cliptop hinges. And do a test on scrap to get the edge diostance correct.
