Weird or what.

My Patriot chuck came this morning that I ordered yesterday from Poolewood(once again they deliver the next morning when I order in the afternoon before 8) ) I popped it on the lathe and no wobble So I tried the SN2 on the sorby insert and no wobble . Heres where it gets weird,I thought I'd try the patriot on the technatool insert and.........it didn't wobble :shock: So I put the SN2 back on the technatool insert and it wobbled :? Weird eh? Either way I now have 2 working chucks and aren't really going to question why they behave like this

Life is weird at times isn't it?

I have a couple of nova chucks and keep different jaws on each as it saves a lot of time faffing around changing them over. You should be all set now to do some really good stuff with the gear you have.

Odd indeed!
I also have a few chucks and it makes life so much easier.
I originally got the 2nd because I was unable to remove a set of jaws after tightening them too much.
The 3rd I bought because it was fairly cheap on Ebay, came with 2 sets of jaws and was the same design as my 2nd with the strange SN key - a hard to key to replace so useful having 2 just in case,
