In bits, oh it but up a fight.

The Insert for the pressure guage was striped and the guage fell to bits.
I did rebuild it later. Foe now I ordered new seals, insert and washers.

They are still being made.

Steeping the handle in resin to save it.
Then it was soaked in warm wax.

In the end I made a new one.

In use.
Lots of water and AFFF mix to mop up the jet of fuel you always get on start up.
40psi of tank pressue, or about 50 pumps of the handle.
The heat is fantastic.

This is normal in warm up, the wick can get drawn back.

Nice restoration of a very useful piece of kit. Often thought about one of these for a mini forge using fire bricks
