Thank you for the kind words.

The shape on the toe was billed as being able to get into smaller spaces--but that seems silly to me.

The one we based ours on is the Disston No. 9. I originally wanted to make them becuase they are a bit rare to find. But in use, they are a pretty well balanced saw. The handle is fun to shape, but does fit the hand nicely.
