400 pounds you mean Trev? Got the manual, can quote it exactly if needs be. The bigger Sagar derived lumps might indeed be 400Kg, but this one was billed as 'the small Wadkin'(!!) originally.
Pressed steel base you see, only cast is the upper cabinet, main internal casting and the table and wings.
Aaarrghhhh....I think problem.is mine Trev, my crossed wires, "SORRY!". I was quoting weights etc for an AGS 10", a smaller, less 'endowed' animal compared to what you (rightly) quoted for the bigger saw.

The guy told me it's a BGS 12 sliding table, originally 3 phase but he put a 2hp 240v motor in it. He wants £650 for it.Artie may be talking about an AGS rather than a BGS anyway, they're not as common as the AGS machines.
