Valuation question

Hi all.
Unfortunately I’ve decided to move my Coronet Major on to a new owner. I just haven't got the time. Excellent condition, only slight oxidation on a few nuts and bolts.
what would be a reasonable price to put this up for? It is the later blue model. Has loads of accessories, including various centres, two chucks, one of them a couple months old sc4 chuck and around 20 chisels including some high quality crown cryo chisels. Also grinding wheel, dresser, tool jig, angle gauges, dividers.......drawer tool box included to store all these, basically everything you need. Just looking for an honest price, would rather it go for less than top dollar to someone that has the time to enjoy it and use it to its full potential. Thanks in advance, Chris

Oh, and the headstock bearings are really smooth, no play....plenty of adjustment for future.

I was informed by a member of a wood turning club that they wood expect to sell or buy a second hand lathe, obviously dependant on condition, for about half the buy new price. Record’s price for the Coronet Herald is about £1000 so second hand £500 in good working condition. Same applies to accessories unless they are in unused mint condition then say 75% of new price.

Just a query - is it the standard 3/4" spindle? Some Majors were made with 7/8" spindles, which were more appropriate to the loads a Major could take, but of course a pig when it came to buying chucks.
If it's in as good condition as it looks, I'd suggest £500 was a bare minimum, but given the pandemic, who knows what demand is like. There won't be many Majors on the market, and they WERE ****** good lathes.

Hi, yeah this has the later 3/4” spindle thread. The earlier maroon coloured ones had the 7/8”.
