By way of an update to an earlier thread.

The plan is to have a get together as previously suggested at The Fat Cat pub in Norwich, Saturday Lunch time, meeting at 12.30pm.

All members welcome, hope for a good turnout. A chance to meet some forum friends, have a chat and a few beers.

Please post in the thread intentions to attend.

Cheers, Tony.

Thanks for organising this Tony........

At the moment I am a possible rather than a certainty due to some family stuff. I'll try to make it work.

Mike

Hi Tony,

As ever my intentions are good! Will see you there. I hope a few others are able to make it.

Cheers Alan

Glad you can all make it. First round on me. :D

I have sent a message to chippyjoe and TonyB, sadly Tony can't make it but lets hope Joe will turn out.

I thought I would make myself know to the barman when I arrive and he can point us all in the right direction.

Cheers, Tony.

Hi Tony, I have got to see a customer late Saturday morning (the law of sod!! ) but if I get finished in time I will be there.

If I miss this one, then I will get to the next one, many thanks for taking the time to set this up.

Mark.

All set for tomorrows meet fellas.

I am looking forward to a few beers, and have managed to persuade the old girl to have a few hours in the city with the children so I don't have to drive home. :D - yipee.

I will aim to arrive at the Cat at 12.30 and will let the barman know I am from the forum.

Cheers,

Tony.

Thanks Alan and Dave for a very enjoyable few hours in the pub at lunch time.

I enjoyed the company, chat and beer ("Harviestoun - Old Engine Oil") and look forward to our next get together.

Cheers, Tony.

Yes an excellent lunchtime, good to meet someone new, as for the "Harviestoun - Old Engine Oil" I haven't had such a good beer for a long time, seriously dark ale. The barman asked me what I thought it would do for my car... Is he a mechanic in part time?
I think if I haven't had any joy from the house move, some sort of bash for the local section would be in order, so we'll have to put it on the back burner for summer.

Alan

Good to meet you both and yes it would be good to do it again. Hopefully next time we can find a time when other local members are free.

Dave
