Hi,

I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction?

I'm putting some beading around the expansion of of my laminate floor Ive just laid and cannot work how to cut this angle around the end unit.

I have the trend angle finder and the angle is 135 degrees and I assume I am right in thinking the angle I need to cut is half this= 67.5 degrees?

However I'm sure I'm being stupid here as I have the Dewalt 712 mitre saw and the angle gauge swings one one side to 50 degrees and the other side 60 degrees, how do I cut 67.5 degree angle? again I'm sure I can cut this angle with the saw.

Am I missing something apart from being a bit stupid.

Thanks
Phil

I would guess that you measure from the other side of the straight line. I havent seen the saw or the job.

135 degrees is 45 degrees, so half of that is 22 1/2 degrees. Make sure you put the moulding the correct way round!

That's excellent marcros,

Just tried it and it worked spot on, however can I ask......

How do you mean 135 degrees = 45 degrees?

Is this some formula that can be applied to other obscure angles?

Sorry if this is a daft question.

You take 180* (a straight line) and minus your angle. 180 - 135 = 45 :D

Thanks MMUK

Thanks for the tips lads, much appreciated.
