Bean,

Why under protest? You have made some very nice boxs and the way you use features of the wood makes them special. :D

Its just that I don't post very often Dave, maybe 1 piece in 10. Tony told me off for not posting more, and after all he is a mod.

Hi Bill

They are just wonderful. Thanks for taking the time to post the photos, I really enjoyed viewing your boxes.

Thanks
Neil

Beautiful Bean, I think your boxes are exceptional with the way you use the wood and incorporate the defects - inspiration for the rest of us

Looking forward to a few more

Hi Bill

Those are impressive boxes - thank you for posting them. Do you have any tips for making sure that the mitre joints are accurate?

Gill

Thank you all, for your kind and generous comments

Gill I dont have a lot of hair left, so I guess my method is not as good as others. But I believe that the quantity of tea and biscuits consumed is propotional to the quality of the joint.
I cut most if not all of my mitres on the sliding table of my Kity, just use a good and careful setup, try to keep things simple, less errors then. Oh yes and use a scrap piece to check the setup eith at each stage.
