Has anybody any advice. please, on how to stop my Tyme Cub motor cut-out switching off the power after only a few minutes ? I've tried using a vacuum cleaner on the ventilation slots but they didn't look blocked and the motor doesn't seem that warm. Are there any user-replaceable bits (brushes ?) that could cause the problem ? I don't want to splash out on a new motor or control box if it's something relatively simple. Thanks for any pointers.

By cutting out I presume that you have an NVR switch that drops out.

Will it restart immediately?

Does it cut out if motor run without the belt fitted?

Check the condition of the capacitor, any signs of leaking?

Is there any dust in the NVR switch?

Do you have a loose connection or broken/intermittent power lead to NVR switch?

If motor is not overheating and not blowing fuses try running it without the NVR switch in line.

If it runs for 10 minutes or so without overheating or blowing fuse then suspect NVR switch contacts or adjustment.
