Folding it's dead easy. Just look at Steve Maskery's band saw DVD - you put the bottom end on the carpet, stand on it with one foot, hold each side in each hand, then just fold yet arms! :D

P.S. I STILL can't do that first go!!!!!!!!!

It's unfolding it when it first arrives that's hard - again according to Steve, you just take the roll out into the garden, then chuck it away from you onto the lawn, and open it springs, automatically.

Seriously, I wonder what machine that's going on, AND what the guides look like?

3 lorry wheels please - "one each side of the blade, set away from the blade by a thickness of ordinary writing paper each side, and one behind the blade at 90 degrees, set so the gullets are in front of the 2 side lorry wheels "

P.S. Lorry wheels with or without tyres? And come to that, I wonder what the driving wheel on the band saw looks like?

:D

Seriously, have you got a pic of the saw that blade comes from ww?

You know you've got a good blade when there are teeth front and back too! More than likely it's for one of those old pit resaws like a Stenner (Anyone who's been to Yandles has probably seen theirs).

I still find uncoiling 16ft x 2 1/2" Wadkin PBR blades unnerving as hell even with someone helping.

Well, I was thinking of making a tank for the Mad Max party next year....!!

That's a whopper !! I wonder whether it's worth adding "joke" in the title so some glancing over the threads will realise you were pulling our legs ;)

I was on honeymoon in Oregon earlier this year, passed within a few miles of that place! The logging industry out there is incredible, the scale of it is ridiculous.
