Trying to track down a website

About three or four years ago I stumbled upon a website for a woodworker from the Netherlands or Belgium. He was producing furniture using only hand tools (often Japanese). He posted videos of himself working without commentary or music, just the stereo on in the background playing classical music or jazz. I found his site because I was looking for ways to resaw wood using hand tools. There was a video of him sawing an enormous plank of walnut (???) using a frame saw. I know he used to post on one of the Japanese woodwork forums...but I can't track him down.

I know it's all a bit vague, but does this ring any bells with anyone?

Interesting stuff there Mike - I like the mix of Japanese and western planing; the delicate use of a big German frame saw and the clever way of clamping a panel flat. (The last one is a good example of a tool that disappears when not in use!)

I know, for instance I have never seen anyone set a saw like this although it makes perfect sense and I guess predates saw sets...

I see there was some debate over whether that technique could produce an even set. As long as the set is too much, you can use the paper and vice technique to even it up...
