I thought I had a link saved but now can't find it. I remember you need to make a few changes to this when you put it in a router table. One alteration was removing a spring in the plunge mechanism. Anyone got a link showing this been done and any other necessary changes?
I've tried here and Argee's own website but can't find it
Cheers

You don't have to change anything. But it is advisable to remove the plunge spring so you are not fighting against it when winding up.

I have also just discovered another problem. The collet lock is failing to engage. I have wound it to full plunge, the collet lock pin then protrudes a small amount but not enough to engage fully with one of the three holes. I can push it in and hold it manually but I think it's supposed to engage itself fully without help from me. Any ideas anyone? It's not practical to reach under and hold manually.

Thanks mike I've now got the spring out just need to know if anything else is advisable when used in the table.

I'm not sure if it's advisable, but I have removed the cover to the switch. This means you don't have to fiddle around with it when engaging the spindle lock, but it also means you can turn on the machine with the spindle lock engaged!!!! It's up to you. I've found it much easier to use, especially with the switch round the back. Easily the best router table router I've ever used, as we found in our test of router table routers some years ago.
