Erbauer used to sell one (Erbauer ERB380ROU) that was identical in every way except for the Trend badge, and it was significantly cheaper at the time. Probably not a terrible router but I avoid anything labeled Trend like the plague now because of questionable longevity in both machines and router bits.

Although the Trend routers are made by Dewalt they apparently do not share the same bearings and Trend seems to have had some issues. Unless the T7 is really cheap and you want a router for handheld use then just buy the Dewalt 625, a workhorse for many.

I have one of those Erbauer things. It was bought in a kitchen-fitting emergency when my DeWalt 625's bearings finally turned to cornflakes.
It is excreta. You have to hold the so-called "locking lever" at ALL times otherwise it releases and the router 'unplunges' mid-cut. The motor does a very fair imitation of an arc welder when you put a load on it, sputtering noises and laser light shows inside the housing. When you lean over the machine, to eyeball the cut, the fan is so badly placed, your tee shirt gets sucked up against the top 'grating' and the beast overheats. Maybe my tee shirts are just too floppy? The fence is a joke. I swapped it out immediately for an orphan one - from a deceased Bosch - with lovely built-in vacuum fitting.
I have the new bearings for 'Oul' Yella' and he's going to get a transplant soon. The Erbauer can hold my garage door open. Comes in a nice case, incidentally.
Sam
