My elderly iPod is slowly giving up the ghost and before it goes CTU I want to copy off my music so I can transfer it to my computer...a Mac. Can anyone recommend any software?

I just bought a copy of iPod Music Liberator and it is pants and so I don't want to get my fingers burnt again  Why is it pants? Well, when I transferred over a small selection, it told me 448 songs, 47 playlists were transferred with 32 errors. Does it tell me where or what those errors are? No. Does it support accented characters (essential for a musical pedant like me :D ). No, it does not.

hi roger, before i have just pluged in the USB cable and copy documents direct from its hard drive in my computor. Think the drive is drive G. Thats with windows though.

oops..should have updated the post  After a lengthy dialogue with the developers, they've found two bugs and it now works, I'm pleased to say.

They've invited me to be one of their beta testers for future products...now there's a double-edged sword

The latest Itunes software has a facility to do this - version 7
