What a sad start to the day for involved in the train crash in Scotland.

My deepest sympathies go out to all.

when working for a hands-on eng agency...
I was asked if I would organise and conduct underground water pumping tests for upgrades to the system....
Then the contract got cancelled as the Railway Co had no money and anyway the system has been OK up to now....
Management don't care and always have their head in the sand....
What ever industry they represent....
Look at Boeing.....
going for jollies and meals away is all they care about......
After many, many years as a self employed contract engineer I've met them all.......happily retired now.....
The incident in Scotland is very sad but hardley surprising....
Sorry.....

I think a lot of questions need answering into how that accident happened.

It is very fortunate that more were not on the train, I dread to think of how many would of lost lives in a packed out one.
