I do like them octagonal handles so I had a go at rehandling my skewed chisels, much discussion on the Hand Tools forum. Followed Alf's instructions strictly to the letter but couldn't use any of her posh timbers so I had to make do with a couple of lumps of gash teak...(I know, its not gash when you see the price of it  ) but it's what was loafing about roughly the right size. Slightly different take on the end treatment tho'. Finish is al la Alf, half a dozen coats of thin shellac polish and some Alna teak wax (which I bet she hasn't got). Only one very slight observation and that is on the thinner chisels (these are 12mm) the 28mm square stock seems too large, 25mm might be better, not going to change it now tho'....so, doffs cap to Alf =D> - Rob
