I've always held that dieting and gyms are for people with time to waste, but more recently I have noticed that for every day I spend in the workshop I seem to loose 2lbs of weight.
Without any attempt at dieting, I weighed in at 14st 3lb when I started doing my massive sliding gate... and 13st 5lb at the end of it. I would expect a lot of weight loss due to fluids etc, but the gate's been finished for a few weeks now and the weight hasn't come back on.
I got stuck into a Toybox for the little one last weekend and am down to 13st 3 now.
I can't say I'm surprised that healthy exercise results in weight loss.. but I'm rather surprised it's been so rapid.
Has anyone else noticed the amazing effects of woodworking diet.
