As the title says..... anyone got/had any experience of these people..?

No... i'm not about to get suckered into one of their err 'tariffs', but do have a friend that's been to one of their seminars and has become an 'agent' for them.... hoping to make lots of money.

I've done a bit of googling and it seems to me to be what used to be called a pyramid scheme, albeit legal.

Any thoughts / replies / experience welcomed.....

A friend of mine uses them at the mo for her TV, phone and broadband. She had no clue that UW are part of Carphone Warehouse until I told her.

From what I've seen, I don't think its a pyramid scheme as such. New agents are basically the door to door cold callers or those with a stand in the shopping centre. Apparently they are also offering a monthly commission for as long as your customer remains with UW.

I doubt that your friend will be able to make a living from this considering UW are one of the most complained about and hated of suppliers. They are only a middle man at the end of the day. They don't host any of the services they provide. Phone, TV and broadband is BT and mobile is O2.

My advice....run...
Based on experince, for me to get back the set up costs, the savings would have taken 4 years, and as for the hassle of swopping over...
